Windows 7 Certification

I need to get a certification for MS in the very near furture but I don't see how exam 70-680 will help me as I support Windows XP and 7 and a imaging process is already setup.

Does anyone have info on training, experence or web sites on Exam 70-685 0r 70-686?
Also if I pass one of these tests do you still get a MCP or will I have to go thru exam 70-680 anyway?

You get the MCP designation as soon as you pass your first MS test.

What certification are you trying to get? It would appear you are trying to get the MCITP for windows clients. Which to get that you need to pass both 680 and 685 if you are doing dektop support or 680 and 686 if you are doing desktop administration.

When I was having to take cert tests I always used the Microsoft study guides lots of information and the study cds that are included always seemed to be better than the 3rd party offerings.

Thank you.  Which would be easier / faster to get, 680 or 685?

Your background would probably determine which one would be easier/faster to get. If you have done more deskside support 685 would probably be easier for you than 680 or vice versa if most of your time has been on the setup configuration of your base images for delployment you would probably find 680 easier.

Not to sound cocky but most Microsoft exams are easy as long as you have some experience with the OS and read the books and take practice tests. They give you like 3 hours and I have taken like 6 exams never failed and never took more than 45 mins for any of them. For practice tests check out http://www.examcollection.com it is a great resource for practice tests.
