"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

DO you mean when the parameter is prompted for?
Just add them to the list for a STATIC parameter

If you mean in the selection formula

{?Parameter} = '*'
OR
{?Parameter} = {Field}

create the parameter with the following default values:

All
Inactive
Active

in report selection, use something like this:
( {?Parameter} = 'All' OR
   ( If {?Parameter} = 'Inactive' THEN ...
      ELSE If {?Parameter} = 'Active' THEN ....
   )
)

what this does:  in the case where All is selected for the parameter, it essentially does no record selection based on the parameter.  but when Inactive or Active is selected, record selection occurs.
