Can't add roles in Windows server 2008 R2 x64

When I go to Server Manager Roles/Features it display error:
unexpected error refreshing Server Manager: Exception from HRESULT: 0x800F0818
That prevents any modifications to roles...

In addition I can't update to SP1, the error associated with that problem is the same as above.

Thank you, I had to copy missing files from another server to complete the task, worked like a charm.
