I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Depends on your background.

i was looking for som doucments
It is best to write yourself because "adapting" grows docs to enormous size and 99% of doc is not applicable.
Read slowly through COBIT and find area where 1-2 pages makes a significant improvement by means of peace of mind.
If folks up and down your chair approve, you are on the right path. Most likely docs will come from both sides.
Why so short? Policies should be understood by policy makers, implementators, e.g legal dept, company board, emplyees and external contactors etc etc.
