Need to implement One master file, 4 seperate content files

kind gurus,

I am converting an asp classic application that uses include files for its header, sidebar and footer content.   My intent is to use a master file with a table to hold content placeholder controls along with seperate content files for my header, sidebar, footer and general text.  

Can this be done?  

Examples or best recommendation would be much appreciated in either vb.net or c#.

Yes. You can use a single master page with one or more content sections. When you want to add a new page select the "Content Web Form" option in the Add New Item dialog and select which master page it should use.
