can anyone helping me making image transparent?

Hi,

i was wondering could anyonehelp me making this image transparent? i.e i would just like the txt the way it is, no green around it?

Do you have the image file that has text with green around it for us to reference? Any image file type should do.

I apologize for not having explained the process employed here. Believe it or not, although having registered back in 2003, I'm still a newb to the E-E process... I just started helping the E-E community with answering questions about a week and a half ago or so.

I took the image into Photoshop, added the image to a New Layer, used the Magic Wand Tool to select and delete various sections of the green background, and then zoomed in to manually clean up a few green areas that didn't get removed with the Magic Wand Tool. I then deleted the old layer (Background) and then saved the image to PNG format to retain the transparency of the background.
