I cannot login to my Joomla 1.0 site admin?
Hi There,
I just moved a joomla 1.0 site to a new server to do some testing on it
However when I try to go to the administrator it won't let me pass to the admin
http://amandawatson.com.au/maxtemp/administrator
I have the correct username and password, but it just keeps looping back to the login page...
Any help here would be great?

Make the following checking
1. Check database details in the configuration.php file to check whether your application connected to the same db ?
2. If you have the database access check if the login details available in the joomla users table #__users
3. Still if there is problem persists change the login details using interface to the database interface like phpmyadmin

I have tried that - still nothing.
I think it has something to do with the session_path

I ended up upgrading my joomla site by setting up a whole new joomla so I didn't need to go down this path, but these experts were helpful
You can try resetting it using these instructions.
http://docs.joomla.org/How_you_reset_an_administrator_password%3F
So basically login directly to your database and reset the password to one of those 3 hash keys. Then go try logging into your site. Make sure that as soon as you get in that you change it to something else.
Of course if you dont want to use one of those three (I wuoldnt since you've pasted the url here...) then just use an md5 hash generator like this one http://www.miraclesalad.com/webtools/md5.php
