Problem with Sharepoint 'Send To' feature

I'm trying to place a copy of a document located in one Doc Library into a different Doc Library - within the same site collection.  I hit the drop-down on the Office Word 2007 document, click 'Send To' and then 'Other Location'.  When the new screen appears, I insert the copied URL (https://xxx/xxx/xxx_wip/IT/Shared/Forms/).  I test it by hitting the 'click here to test' link and this works ok.  I then hit the 'OK' button and I'm prompted 'you're about to copy the item at location x to location y.  I then hit 'OK' and an error message appears - 'There was 1 error during the copy operation'.  'There were errors copying to this location....  I have Admin access to the Site Collection so it can't be a permissions problem.  Any other idea's or is there a log file I can look at?

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Seems the issue is with the target link.
Link should be:
https://servername/managedpath/sitecollectionname/subsite/list or library/folder/subfolder..
if not clear please explain for what IT, Shared & Forms stands in the link you have given...
