Removing personal folders file in Outlook 2007 when using IMAP
Hi all,
I am using IMAP and when I open Outlook I can see the IMAP email folders. I also still have local personal folders (PST), but I don't know how to remove that. In the mailprofile setting I cannot change the delivery location, because only one personal folders is mentioned. Please see the attachment, the folder in de red box is what I want to remove.

There is no second file, only 1 personal folders (which I do not want) and IMAP (which is the live tree of the server of the provider).

I removed all profiles and remade the IMAP profile with a brand new profile name. Still I am getting also a PST file which is unwanted.

I am sorry, it is Outlook 2003, but I think that does not matter for the problem.

Now the problem as seen in the screenshot occurs on 2 Outlook 2007 clients. A useless personal folder appears.

Own solution worked for me, but still does not explain the 2007 behaviour.
