The computed column should show the value all the time.

atawindowname = dw_tab1
computed column name = compute_sale_qty
computed_column expression = "rec_qty - ret_qty - samp_qty"

As the user enter data in any of the columns rec_qty,ret_qty,samp_qty the computed column should always show the result. The default behaviour is that it show the value when row is saved. I want to show it before save

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

The user needs to know the computed value and then decide whether to save or discard.
But unfortunately, pb update computed columns after row is saved.
