Audit OS Patches

How can I get a list of security patches / updates for each Microsoft OS?
So that I can compare this list with the patches list provided by client in order to see if my client installed all the required patches / updates on their OS/server.

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

I know, but I have to click into each thread
(e.g. Vulnerability in Windows Shell Graphics Processing Could Allow Remote Code Execution (2483185): ) for Windows Server 2003 Enterprise Edition
and then I have to click the link to see the details
and select the system in order to get the date published...

are there anyway can automatically perform this?
