SQL Reports

I created a basic tabular report in sql server 2008 Business Intelligence Development studio.
I need to display summary information.
I have one column Paid it has values either true or false. I want the row count that has true value for column paid.Basically row count based on column value.
Please give me the expression.

Thanks.

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

in the table footer for that column
use the below expression

= Sum (IIF(Fields!Paid.value = "true",1,0))

this should give count of values where paid is true

When you say it has values either true or false, is it a "Bit" data type in SQL which means in SQL it will show as 1 or 0 and in SSRS it will be treated as a Boolean data type and referenced as = True or = False.

If it physically holds the text value "True" or "False" then Suresh's code should work as is.

If not then you need to modify it slightly depending on type.

e.g. For Bit/Boolean types;
     = Sum(IIf(Fields!Paid.Value, 1, 0)
is enough.
