How do I add a period in front of every line in text file?

I have many files that I need to add a period in front of. I am looking for a batch file that I can run that will do this. I guess it would be "BATCH.bat FILENAME" and it would open the file and add a period in front of every line. In the file it contains as of now the following for example:

bob.com
test.com
red.com

When it is done I need it to say:
.bob.com
.test.com
.red.com

Thanks in advance!

Something like that?
@echo off
setlocal
set InFile=%~1
if not exist "%InFile%" (
  echo File "%InFile%" not found.
  goto :eof
)
set OutFile=%~dpn1.out
if exist "%OutFile%" del "%OutFile%"
for /f "delims=" %%a in ('type "%InFile%"') do >>"%OutFile%" echo .%%a
