SharePoint Meeting Workspace

In a meeting workspace there is a way to have the information such as tasks populate from one week to the next, can someone please give me a little direction on how to set this up?

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

it's part of calendar, you can add recurring event for 1 week.

I can make the event reoccurring, but there is away for the data to populate in the currents week's meeting the prior week’s meeting so you can see the status of all projects or tasks. We had this function at my last job and there was a bit more to it than just making it reoccurring.

Create a meeting workspace when you add the meeting to the calendar.  After the meeting workspace is create, create a Task list and under Share List Items Across All Meetings (Series Items) choose Yes for option: Change items into series items.  This will carry the tasks over each week.  Hope I understood what you are looking for and this helps.
