Exchange 2003 to 2010 migration issues

I am in the middle of migrating over an Exchange 2003 server to Exchange 2010
Yesterday, I did a local move of the mailboxes from 2003 to 2010. The results showed the following;
Warning: Failed to cleanup the source mailbox after the move.
Error details: MapiExceptionNotFound: Unable to delete mailbox. (hr=0x8004010f, ec=-2147221233)
When I look at the user mailboxes on the 2003 side, they all have red X's on the accounts

What went wrong? All the users still have access to thier email

This is a known issue.  There is a MS hotfix for this.

The mailbox is moved successfully from the source server to the destination server. This problem occurs because Exchange 2003 cannot delete the folder hierarchy of the mailbox on the source server during or after the move mailbox operation.

Hi, I've applied the patch. What is next? I see that the users are still showing with red x's
