How do I delete sections of a pdf?

Could you tell me if any  productswhich would  let me do the following. If so which ones:-

i.      Delete sections of files
ii.      Combine the resulting file and resize pages?

I prefer not to use Adobe programs

See issues below

I have pdf files which I need to distribute,  and there are sections of each page which are not relevant.

I understand that you can use the crop function to delete part of a page, but if I want to keep 2 sections of the same page how do I do this? If I highlight the section, double click, and then the whole of the page disappears with the exception of the file section highlighted.

Question 2 - How do I then combine the resulting document to be A4. I am left with pages of differing sizes?

I attach a sample to explain the issue

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

By the way, I didn't see your attached sample. My result has NOT changed the page size, but I would like to know if my result is what you are looking for!

The result is - to a point!

What I want to now is if - if I look at your page 2 - you could keep the "turnpike" heading - and just delete the middle bit regarding point 1 - keeping the second point.

I use pdf viewer - as well - how did you achieve your result because I tried unsuccessfully?

Note - the software is called PDF-XChange Viewer from Tracker Software.

As I mentioned above, the page size changes. Yes, you can crop out whatever you want to. My before/after files were just an example.

What to do is insert a new page then cut and paste the parts from the original page that you want to keep!

When you crop a page, it KEEPS the window you crop, so you cannot eliminate the middle section of a page. In any case, the cut and paste to a new pabge conserves the noriginal page size!Crop - Insert page TurnpikeEOBR.pdf

Finally, delete the unwanted page and use the Save as function to conserve the original file...
