Joomla security user resgistration

So, a few weeks ago I launched a game website with public registration possibility.
Now, I knew we would get spammers so we check regularly and disable/block them.

As you may probably know most of them are registered under a russian email adress. Now even when they register we choose who is able to post on the forum and who doesnt. So on that part we dont really have a problem :)

But What I would like is a possibility to disable registration from certain TLD domains. Also would it help to implement a captcha? also what extention would you use for it? Any other suggestions?

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

This is good to block IP and country.

Captcha will seed out alot of the bots.

few options depending on what other components your using.

this one seems quite good as it has a verification process via api to seed out spammers.
