Exchange Full Administrator Role - Old SID - Mailbox Migration
We have an AD 2003 / Exchange 2003 Forest we would like to migrate to AD 2008 / Exchange 2010.
From reading kb articles, we need to have the Exchange Full Administrator Role to migrate mailboxes accross forrests. We would like to put both forrest domain admin groups in this role if possible, but there is only a SID that shows up when we run the Exchange Administration Delegation Wizard in the source 2003 domain. Unfortunately, we have searched through the 2003 AD and can not match that SID with an active user or group. ADSI Edit did not help either. Would this somehow hinder our process once we get started the migration? We have about 250 mailboxes to migrate accross the forrests.
Any help and advice is greatly appreciated.

You can remove the SID, if it is not resolving to any user. It will not going to impact migration process.

After explicitly adding my domain account to the local admin group and redoing the wizard, it worked! Thank you for your help.
