EDIT TEXT ON SCANNED DOCUMENT
EDIT TEST ON SCANNED DOCUMENT

I have tried that with on luck. I scanned doc in text over image and it works but then I lose all the images and it throws random images on the page. I am not a cpu wiz and all I want to do is scan the doc to acrobat then edit it then print the doc and not have it look like it has been modified is that possible...???

Sorry forgot to mention yes I have Acrobat pro 9
Did you use 'Clearscan' as the Scan option or 'Search-able image'?
ASKER
Didn't use either, scanned from my hp scanner using my mac program then saved it to acrobat text over image...
I would try scanning it from Acrobat then use the OCR function and edit the settings when the 'Recognize Text' Dialog appears.
Select 'clearscan' and see if this makes a difference.

Selected clear scan this is what happens when I try to modify doc...(All or part of the selection has no available system font. You cannot add or delete text using the currently selected font.) It wont let me select a font its like that option isn't available I can see the font but it's light gray and cant open

short question...
Depends what you got. Best open in Acrobat Pro and use Document>OCR, then use Tools.Advanced Editing>Touchuptext tool to make changes.
