I have no problem connecting to my dBase files in SSIS with the Jet Driver and specifying dBase V in the 'Extended Properties'. The driver shows all fields as UNICODE fields- unfortunately it is corrupting International (French in this case) characters:
The file has QUÉBEC and SSIS data flow outputs QU+BEC- even though all fields are unicode.
This is just one example. All characters are corrupt if not regular ASCII.
Driving me crazy. I have even tried changing the 'Locale Identifier' in the connection from 1033 to other codes and that does not seem to work either
I tried the Visual FoxPro driver- on preview that showed QUÉBEC but then on output had all fields as varchar not nvarchar and so changed everything anyway.
