Exchange 2010 and Voicemail to Email through Mapi

I have recently migrated a site from exchange 2003 to exchange 2010 sp1 on a windows 2008 R2 server.

The client has a phone system, that can deliver voicemails to the users mailbox. Their system uses mapi to connect to exchange. I also have Blackberry Enterprise Express 5.0.2 running on this, and obviously mapi is working.

Firewall has all communication opened from the voicemail servers IP, from the voicemail system, i can telnet in via 25 or 143 into the new exchange box, no problems.

The user account the voicemail system uses for credentials is valid, active, and for good measure we have reset the password in AD and on the voicemail system.

Has anyone else had a similar problem? Any help would be appreciated. thanks!

What is the telephone system? Are you using the latest MAPI components on the phone system?

Are you able to send the messages via SMTP?

Just for clarity:
What is the issue here?
these VoiceMails are not visible @ Mailbox?

Need to check the MAPI type for those messages like IPF.xxx.
