Exchange Email Looping

We have condition where e-mail will start looping due to auto-responses.  This is a SalesForce.com issue but since it affects Exchange 2003, I was wondering if there is a way to detect looping and notify us or even stop the looping.  I have created a script that will allow them to disable/enable  forwarding to SalesForce.com if looping should occur but would like an automated way.

I was able to locate this article as well, the solution was to go in and delete the rule.   We are using Exchange to forward the e-mails not Outlook, plus the forwarding is correct.  We want all e-mails to forward to SalesForce.com but if the sender has an auto-reply as well then looping occurs.  Would like to know if there is a way for Exchange to detect looping and stop it.
