Copying SharePoint Foundation List

I'd like to copy a SharePoint Foundation list under the data sheet view.  I can copy all of the items fine, but it doesn't copy the column headers, is there a good way to do this?

Do you mean like when you export to Excel?

Yes.  But if you view the list in data view you can select all of the rows and copy.  When you paste, it will paste all of the contents except the column headers.
Do you need to accomplish this task specifically through a Data View Web Part, or can you accomplish it through exporting to Excel instead? That will give you column headers, and allow you to select and copy all items.

My users don't want to Export to Excel, this is apparently too many steps.
What are they pasting the data in to?
emauchAuthor Commented:
Microsoft Outlook.
I'm not sure you're going to be able to solve this with the Data Sheet View.

Is the nature of this process one in which you could create a workflow in SharePoint Designer to help automate aggregating and e-mailing the data, including the column headers?
