Prevent Inline Attachments in Mac Office 2011

I have a user on the latest MacBook Pro using Mac Office 2011.  We are having issues with his attachments being seen by pc users who have Outlook installed.  After a few days of troubleshooting with MS, we were told that the issue is actually a MS Exchange issue (2007 and 2010 only).  There may be a bug that prevents pc Outlook users behind Exchange from seeing the attachments from Mac Office 2011 users (attachment is there but hidden).

The only current fix is to make the change on a server level (turn on inline attachments).  Great - but I cannot change every Exchange server this user emails.  So this brings me to my question:

Is it possible to turn modify inline attachment behaviors WITHIN Mac Office 2011 client?

Addressing this would fix the issue at the root.

Resolution is here: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/954684/EN-US.  But again, this would have to be done on all recipient Exchange servers.  Thus, it would be impossible for me to change for them (unless I had access to all Exchange servers for all recipients this user emails).

Are the other users using a lower version of Outlook (2007/2010)? What happens if you disable inline attachment for those users? See here and try it with one of the users to see if the attachment is viewable.

Well, that question really cannot be answered.  As far as internal users, all are on (Windows) Outlook 2007/2010 or Mac Office 2011 (only one other user).  We are running Exchange 2010 and made the Inline attachment edit (see Microsoft kb article above).  However, this only effects internal users.

I want to know if there is any change that I can make on the Mac Office 2011 client that would prevent inline attachments to start with.  If so, this would prevent external users from having to change the Exchange Server settings.

FYI - Apparently this only effects Exchange 2007/2010 or PC users with Outlook 2007/2010.  MS reported it to be a new bug in Mac Office and says it will submit for patch (but who knows how long that will take).
