Driver Updates

This afternoon I had a problem with my relatively new HP Photosmart D7560 printer.  I couldn't get a print job deleted that was stuck in the queue.  So I removed the device, and went to HP to reinstall it.  HP directed me to a program called Driver Detective, which felt like a scam (it scanned my system, found about 40 outdated drivers, then invited me to purchase the program to get them fixed).  Is this a valid program, or is there a better way to get my drivers updated?  The computer is less than six months old, so I suspect I don't have THAT many outdated drivers.  I am running Windows 7 on a new Lenovo desktop.

I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Well, its a valid program.  But you don't necessarily need it.

Try and that might give you a link to the drivers you need.
