HP Pavilion dv6 3033cl remove one piece keyboard

This particular model has the keyboard and facing as one solid piece.  I have disconnected the keyboard and faceplate and can "see" the connectors but I just feel I have missed a step because it will be very difficult to disconnect them with the small amount of slack (maybe can lift the keyboard an inch off the base)   Not to mention reconnecting  them with such a small amount of wiggle room.   Before I proceed I was hoping to find a better way to remove this particular keyboard.

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

This is the DV6 E PC service manual - it doesn't look that different from normal laptop keyboard removal (p65)
Is this the same device?
