I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Edit footer.php from Appearance | Editor

You will see the relevant text in that file.

I'm new to PHP. Can you tell me how I can display this message:
"Copyright ©2008 ABC - All Rights Reserved"

I want the copyright symbol as well.

footer.php is really simple.  This is the entire file:

		<div id="footer" class="clearfix">
			<p id="copyright"><?php _e('Designed by ','Professional'); ?> <a href="" title="Elegant Themes">Elegant Themes</a> | <?php _e('Powered by ','Professional'); ?> <a href="">Wordpress</a></p>
		</div> <!-- end #footer -->
	</div> <!-- end #container -->

	<?php include(TEMPLATEPATH . '/includes/scripts.php'); ?>
	<?php wp_footer(); ?>

Open in new window

Just replace everything between <p id="copyright"> and </p> with your own text.

The text is being displayed in CAPS. Please tell me how I can change that.

I would have to see a live site to figure out what the CSS is doing...

I know that, but I need to see your site to figure out why it went all caps.  That's not the usual behavior.

I don't have it up yet. No problem, thanks for the help!

Basically, look at your site with Firefox and Firebug and inspect the copyright text.  You'll see the CSS affecting that text and my guess is something is set to display as Small Caps
