still trouble combining columns

I am looking to combine columns here >>

The first time I asked, I did so without sharing the sheet.  Perhaps I can give an example instead.

I am trying to combine columns B, C, D, and E to give output similar to these two examples.

Row1 would become ADX (Lower Subgraph)
Row2 would become ADX Crossover (Upper Subgraph)

Assistance is greatly appreciated.

try this

=if(B2="","",B2&" ")&if(C2="","",C2&" ")&"("&D2&" "&E2&")"

I've inserted a new column and applied the formula in the linked sheet.

cheers, teylyn

Since the table does not always have values in both columns, you need to check if there's a value in B2. If not, nothing gets returned. If there is a value, B2 gets returned and concatenated with a space

=if(B2="","",B2&" ")

Likewise for column C. If there is no value, return nothing. If there is a value, return it and concatenate it with a space.

&if(C2="","",C2&" ")

Then concatenate an opening bracket (, then D2, then a space, then E2, then a closing bracket )

&"("&D2&" "&E2&")"

I can't just go all the way down the sheet with it?

Well, copy the formula down. I already copied it down a few cells. Just copy it down further ....
