Question for user of Log-Me-In at logmein.com

I need this answered by someone that has used the product.  I am looking to support users by remote similar to the way I do now with Team Viewer.  They have a Quick Support module that I have renamed Instant Connect www.tedpenner.com.  It works pretty well but I understand that Log-Me-In is an even faster and better experience for the end user.  Looking at the www.logmein.com website, it is not clear to me which is the Quick Support module that doesn't require installation for the customer.  Please advise if possible.  Which one will the customer end up downloading?  I want to test it.

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

even with logmein you need to have client installed and configured.

Right but not the server.  In our case, the customer PC (the PC being remoted into) is acting as the server.  To do this with Teamviewer, the customer needs only to go to www.tedpenner.com, click the Instant Connect button and say run.  The customer does not need to install anything.  Log-Me-In provides the same type of no-install tool for the ccustomer tool I have at www.tedpenner.com.   I just don't know which one it is.

Once you've setup your log me in support account you can generate a 6 digit support code for a new support session, then you tell the customer to go to http://logmein123.com, they enter the code and from there it will prompt them to run an applet similar to the way teamviewer does.

That is interesting.  So the customer gives me a code from logmein123.com without having to run anything, then I connect to the code he gives me?  Is that correct?

Does logmein allow me to connect to him using one of their free products?  Are there any time limitations with it?

You generate a code from your log me in rescue console then give that to your user, that's what they enter into logmein123.com. I think you can generate a url they can use to request a new support session as well although I've never done it that way.

Log me in rescue isn't one of their free products, although you can get a free trial to have a play about with it.

yeah $1500 per year.  That's way out of my price range and requires a subscription.  What else is there?
