Avoid page title as part of page content

When I try to create a new page, the title of the page is a part of the content by default. Please tell me how I can avoid this.

I'm using this theme: http://www.elegantthemes.com/gallery/theprofessional/

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Look in page.php and remove the_title()

Would probably be single.php if it's a post, not a page.
hi dshrenik,
- do u mean u trying to replace the 'elegantthemes' image title? edit your code, find this line under div id="header" and replace the logo.gif with your own image or delete that line if you want to totally remove it:
<a href="http://www.elegantthemes.com"><img src="/v2/images/logo.gif" id="logo" alt="logo"></a>

Open in new window

- if you want to change the title in the browser bar - "The Professional is a...", look for header tag then title tag as follows. change the existing title to your desired title:

<title>The Professional Business Wordpress Theme | Elegant Themes</title>

Open in new window

I was refering to the page title.
@gwkg: Can you tell me the exact line that I must delete.

To remove it from all posts, go to entry.php in the theme editor, and remove this:
<h2 class="title"><a href="<?php the_permalink(); ?>"><?php the_title(); ?></a></h2>

Open in new window

To remove it from pages, go to page.php and remove this:
<h1 class="title"><?php the_title(); ?></h1>

Open in new window

Next go to blog-page.php and remove:
<h1 class="title"><?php the_title(); ?></h1>

Open in new window

Continue this process for all page templates including these:
