I want to know what a specific service/activity is called
My dilemma is that I know what I want to do but I do not know what the right terminology is for describing it.
I am looking for either software or a service that can do the following:
1. Identify all websites that fall under a certain niche (for example: photography information with an Alexa rank in the top 1,000,000)
2. Locate within each website, the e-mail address used for support or information
3. If #2 is unavailable, to locate a support form, in which the owner/webmaster can be contacted
If an e-mail address is found, I want to send a specific e-mail to the web owner/webmaster. If a form is used, then the same information provided in the e-mail should be used to populate the form.
I don't know if this falls under the category of data mining, data scraping, or what. My intent is to Google and find software or services that provide this capability in an automated fashion. However, since I don't know what the right terminology is, I can't even Google it.
Please suggest what appropriate search terms would be for what I want to do; and, if you are familiar with a program or service that provides this, please let me know.
