Integrating JOSSO SSO with Web Application on Flex

Hello everyone,

We're currently developing map viewer application running on Flex using ArcGIS Server Enterprise 10 as the map engine. Supposedly, the main portal is running on JOSSO and upon user's click on GIS tab in there, it should launch a separate web window to display our map viewer. In order to take advantage of the existing SSO, we would like to get our application integrated or some say controlled by this SSO.

Having been away from web development for quite sometime, I've lost touch on technology. That's why I would like to ask for your opinions and suggestions on how can we make this integration possible. Thank you in advance.

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Depends on the backend you are using. If you are using Java I'd suggest to have a look at Spring-Security and Spring-Flex-Integration. I know there are several SSO examples round the web.

Do you know of some sample codes which I can make use as basic guideline?
Unfortunately this is a very crosscutting topic you are looking for. I'd suggest to have a look as Spring-Security SSO and as soon as that's setup to look how to integrate BlazeDS in that conecpt.
