Exchange 2010 OWA REdirect

Currently in the process of moving from Exchange 2003 to Exchange 2010. My old OWA access was: https://mail.domain.com/exchange for my new 2010 OWA address I want user to be able to type in webmail.domain.com  with out the https or /owa and have it automatica redirect them to the secure OWA login page. Can such a redirect be done with out problems in 2010 and is it support by microsoft. Are they any cons to doing this?
