Switching from Windows Server 2000 mixed mode to Windows Server 2003

We have 4 different DC's in 2 different sites.  All DC's are 2003.  Is there anything I need to do before I go into AD UC and "raise the domain function level" to Windows 2003?
Where do I raise the forest level? Do I do this before or after raising to Windows 2003 move?
I ran NETDIAG and DCDIAG without issues.

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.
