"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

What hardware are you using for your VPN connection?
Qlemo"Batchelor", Developer and EE Topic AdvisorCommented:
Yes, you can. You can use a batch file for starting the connection without installing anything, or use the CMAK described at . For most users with static connections the latter is better, as it creates an dial-up entry you can just activate.

The batch file approach has the con that all necessary data, including user and password if provided, are visible (plain text) in that batch file. But it is much more flexible if you need to connect to multiple sites.
