mildogz--I should have mentioned that most all Add-ons are not automatically installed but require <b>your permission </b> from the Information Bar (usually yellow) at the top of active window right under one of the Toolbars.

Is there a way to block all internet explorer add ons from being installed? maybe some type of registry hack can do the trick? I want to be able to keep the add ons i have now but not allow any other add ons to be installed in the browser.<br />

Internet explorer add ons
