Can not find file

I have a simple BAT file which is suppose to open an Excel file. The Excel file is in the same directory as the BAT file.  The code is as following:

%0\..\RepGen.xlsm

When it runs, Excel  opens but I get a message: "Windows cannot find 'C:\ClientClearing\RegulatoryReports\RepGen.xlsm'. Makes sure you typed the name correctly <snip> "

What am I doing

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

wit the ..\<FileName> you are  telling it to look in the directory above the current directory.  .\ is current dir  ..\ is up one dir.

%~dp0RepGen.xlsm

This gives me the same error as in the begining: "Windows cannot find 'C:\ClientClearing\RegulatoryReports\RepGen.xlsm'. Makes sure you typed the name correctly <snip> "

Is "'C:\ClientClearing\RegulatoryReports\RepGen.xlsm" the correct name for the file?  If you do a DIR with that name does it show the file info?

Also, probably a good habit to enclose in quotes like this:

"%~dp0RepGen.xlsm"
