I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Which SQL Server does it concern? What exactly do you want to know?
For SQL Server 2000 you have sys.sysprocesses dynamic view (it exists in newer versions, for compatibility purposes only)
For SQL Server 2005 and up you have three system views:

--SQL 2005 and higher
select * from sys.dm_exec_sessions
select * from sys.dm_exec_connections
select * from sys.dm_exec_requests

--SQL 2000
select * from sys.sysprocesses
