microsoft address book

Hey Everyone,

I have my microsoft address book shared on my server, I share it between 8 workstations. we upgraded a few to windows 7 and when i open the address book it imported the contacts. If I add or delete a contact in windows 7 will it effect the database on the server?

Our goal is to have an address book that will sync to all the pcs when you add or delete users.

Thank you

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

No.  You are going to have to export andf import each time you want to propagate the changes.

I assume you mean you have a WAB (Windows Address Book) on the server.  What E-Mail program are you using on Windows 7?
