Did you make sure you have all the jars in the Eclipse build path in WEB-INF/lib?

CEHJCommented:
My normal classpath for HttpUnit includes
Tidy.jar
js.jar
junit.jar
nekohtml.jar
servlet.jar
xercesImpl.jar
xmlParserAPIs.jar
httpunit.jar

I guess, you need to add httpunit.jar but also js.jar, junit.jar, jtidy...jar to WEB-INF/lib
