Generating a 2048-bit CSR on SBS 2003

I'm setting up a GoDaddy SSL certificate which requires a 2048-bit CSR, but SBS 2003 only gernerates a 1024-bit one.

If I delete the pending certificate to restart the process will this screw everything up?

Thanks, I've already seen that one and anothe, both refer to renewing SSLs where the CSR was originally generated in IIS 6.0 (1024-bit) and explains how to deal with this. It also explain how to set up a new CSR in Server 2003, however, SBS 2003 is different. You delete the self certificate and generate a new CSR.

I now have the choice of processing the pending request or deleting it, which comes with all sorts of warnings.
Have you talked to GoDaddy support about next steps?
I don't think you'll have any choice but to delete and re submit but have not actually done this in full disclosure...haven't had the need for 3rd party cert yet
