Sonicwall TZ210 NetExtender installation issues

I've been working on some NetExtender issues for the past two days and have humbly come to you all for help!

Here's a small narrative: i installed the TZ210 over the weekend, set all of my subnets and firewall rules and everything seemed great. Once I started sending a select few employees to the portal to install NetExtender and use it is when I started seeing issues. Everything from "failure to initialize" to "a damaged version NetExtender was detected on your computer..." I've gone through SonicWall tech support which was less than helpful.

I've uninstalled everything that I thought would interfere with the client: anti-virus, software firewalls, aircard connection managers, etc. unfortunately, I'm still on square one. Out of the 5 machines I've attempted this on, 2 have successfully worked: an older Vista machine and a brand new Windows 7 laptop fresh out of the box (I attempted to break this one by installing my antivirus program (Vipre) but it still worked afterward.)

I've included the log and the debug below. It seems as though there is a driver that fails to initialize and it's having NIC installation issues. Unfortunately, I can't make hide nor hair out of it...

Information:
SonicWall TZ210 Information:
Firmware Version: SonicOS Enhanced 5.8.0.2-37o
ROM Version: SonicROM 5.0.2.11

Laptop Information:
Lenovo w510
Windows 7 Professional 64bit (fully patched)
8Gb RAM, etc etc etc

Try to download the NetExtender-Software from your MySonicWALL Account (should be a file namend "NetExtender.4.0.138.MSI") and install this one. Better luck?

Dang, forgot to put that in the notes above...

Yes, I tried the downloaded NetExtender (which was the solution for one of the two machines that worked).  Unfortunately, for the other three, it's still the same issue using that file.
I've been going round and round with SonicWALL tech support (which, if I may editorialize for a few words, is less than adequate).  I'm finding a few line items in the debug log that are troubling:

-2011/04/19 07:11:53, NetExtender Core: Proc-0x1070:Thr-0x108C: Error: Driver need to be re-installed!
-2011/04/19 07:11:53, NEService - Detect incompeleted/damaged NetExtender installtion
-2011/04/19 07:12:42, NetExtender Core: Proc-0x1070:Thr-0x108C: Error: Driver need to be re-installed!

I honestly think that this points to the crux of the problem.  However, I don't know what driver it's referring to.  Does anyone have any detailed knowledge on the installation of NetExtender that might be able to peel this back?

I also had problems using NetExtender. I've installed and reinstalled version NetExtender.4.0.134.msi and NetExtender.4.0.138.msi.
Problem was that the logon screen showed only "Old password" and "New password" input fields.
I was not able to use NetExtender.

I also faced the problem with services.msc. Through a collegue we came on another forum.
http://www.sevenforums.com/installation-setup/124759-cant-open-gpedit-msc-services-msc-because-activex.html
Once I've corrected the Registry
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings\Zones\
and rebooted my compyuter, 2 of my problems were solved.
