Looking up SharePoint list data in an Excel Template

I have a custom content type in a document library based on an Excel Template.

I created a purchase order form.

I would like to reference a SharePoint Contact list I have for vendors, ideally in a dropdown list on the form.

Can this be done?

I have other dropdown lists on the form but I created those with a hidden sheet of LISTS.

You could link the contacts list in another (hidden) sheet of the workbook and then reference that sheet.
