Unable to open power point files in Citrix

Hi, I have a user who is unable to open Power Point files through the Citrix web interface. When she opens the ppt file her session hangs. This happens only with ppt files. She can open word or excel files. The ppt file is only 90kb and I can open the file no problem on my Citrix profile. I reset her Citrix profile and the issue still persist. Please help.

Thanks

Is she able to open PowerPoint and create a new document?

Are you able to open the same (or any PPT) documents from Citrix under your own profile? If not, then a recent update may be the issue...

Sorry, I should've seen you note that already initially.... are your Citrix servers in load-balancing? If so, are you connecting to a different CTX server than she is?

Just as a test to see if the source (whether a directory, DMS, etc.) is an issue, if you were to open and send the PPT file to her, could she open it from email or will it freeze the session again?

I sent the ppt file back to her and she could not open it from email. Her session freezes. I connected to the same server and opened the same ppt file from my outlook

I know you already performed a profile recreation, but is there an OPS file for this user's account located elsewhere that can either be renamed or deleted to troubleshoot this to resolution?

No she does not.

I have resolved this issue by blowing away her profile and had her reconnect. I'm not sure why resetting her profile the first time didn't work..
