I used to be able to use:

Me.Contacts_Email.SetFocus
SendKeys "^C"
MsgBox ("Contact Email copied:  " & Me.Contacts_Email)

And I would get in the clipboard:   email@email.com

now I get

---------------------------
Microsoft Office Access
---------------------------
Contact Email copied:  email@email.com
---------------------------
OK
---------------------------

What the heck is going on? How do I get JUST the field I wanted copied?

I'm not quite following.
But, try this:

Me.Contacts_Email.SetFocus
DoCmd.RunCommand acCmdCopy
MsgBox ("Contact Email copied:  " & Me.Contacts_Email)
