iPhone Remote connection

My client is currently running 2x Connect on iPhone. Can you tell me what that means?

I have a VB application that I am hoping to run on the iPhone through some kind of remote connection software. Is this possible?

Would you mean 2x from http://www.2x.com/.  This is a type of remote connection software, similar to what I talk about below.

All iOS applications (for the most part) have to be coded with Objective-C and the iPhone SDK.  Your VB application will not be able to run unless you can port over the code to it.  There are types of VNC software and applications for iOS that allow you to see and control your PC, and in essence, run your file remotely (see TeamViewer, 2x Connect, Cocoa VNC, etc.).  However, the VB code will not be able to be executed on your device natively.
