Using Microsoft Document Imaging for Office 2007 I get the error "Cannot create temporary image. Check disk space and permissions."

Using Microsoft Document Imaging for Office 2007 I get the error "Cannot create temporary image.  Check disk space and permissions."  When trying to scan ?

This doesn't appear to be a problem with Disk Space or Permissions.

Have you tried scanning from OneNote? Apparently, that is what has replaced Microsoft Document Imaging in Office 2007 & Office 2010.

The printer has always been set to cute PDF writer and still is.  Also in Office 2007 there is still Microsoft Document Imaging, it was removed in 2010.
@gpmdev, Also in Office 2007 there is still Microsoft Document Imaging - my bad!
Try clearing your temp files (move or delete), particularly any that reside in %systemroot%\temp to see if a temporary file that is being immediately created from the scan is the cause of the issue.
