Unable to access BlackBerry Web Desktop Manager from the internet
Hi there,
I have setup BESx but unable to access the Web Desktop Manager fro mthe internet. I can however access the from internal, everything else works fine.
I have checked that the ports are open and the firewall is allowing traffic through. I am not a BlackBerry expert but I am now at a loss with this.
The system setup is windows 2008 R2 standard, BESx 5.0.2
Thanks.

Hi dlan75,
Many thanks for your help, I have been at this for a few weeks now just going round and round...
I have gone through everything again as suggested, and yes you were correct. Though it wasn't the router, it was just a simple tick box on the server itself in the firewall settings. Though I had Public ticked and not Domain, I ticked Domain and hey presto...
Thanks again, I guess its true that having someone give you advice always helps, and suggests something you may think very simple and miss out.
Once again cheers...

np glad I could help :-)
If you can access the website internally, then it does mean it is working.
If you are only having problems accessing it externally, it points to firewall rules.
Good Luck!
