I need to create a group that includes users who have no design or edit permissions.

How do I create a group and assign the Browser role to this group?

The Browser role includes permissions that are useful for users who view reports, but do not necessarily write or manage them. This role provides basic capabilities for users who belong to either the Contributor or Reader group in a team project.

    Accepted Solution

In Windows: Create a group and add the users to it.

In SSRS: Click the "New Role Assignment" button (on the screen in the SSRS-03.jpg screenshot). Enter the name of the Widows group (or user) you want to grant the permissions and Check the Browser checkbox. Then click OK.
