VMWARE (VSPHERE)

Dear Experts,

What is VMWare (VSPHERE)
I believe it is virtualization but need detailed explanation for installation, requirements and hardware details to run it.
I want two windows servers on one Hardware where I want to allocate equal space to each server. How can I do that.
Please advice.

vSphere is the name given to VMware's server virtualization product. The server hypervisor is ESX or ESXi (ESX is going away though).

For install of ESXi, you can follow the guide here:
http://www.vmware.com/pdf/vsphere4/r41/vsp_41_esxi_i_vc_setup_guide.pdf

It's actually pretty simple. If you have your host ready, just verify it's on VMware's compatibility list: http://www.vmware.com/resources/compatibility/search.php, and you should be golden. Also, make sure you have spec req's met (RAM, CPU, disk).
